Amber is one of our newest Project Managers. Before her time at Gravity Works, she worked in supply chain management and e-commerce consulting for both large companies and freelance endeavors. Her background in coordinating and implementing e-commerce sites, along with leading large teams in both internal and external projects give her ample experience in directing and coordinating multiple projects while achieving exceptional results.

Get To Know Amber

What got you involved in Project Management? What made you want to become a PM?

I’ve had an interesting career path that has taken me through several industries among them has been food service, automotive lending, entrepreneurship, and e-commerce consulting. In every industry I found myself working with IT and development teams to design, build and implement innovative solutions to make life easier for our teams. My work as an e-commerce consultant really allowed me to get my hands into building websites for small, independent businesses. Becoming a PM was an ideal opportunity to merge my prior experiences with technology and my love for leading projects and helping independent businesses on a larger scale.

Are you a part of any professional groups or groups just for fun?

I’m very active in small business/entrepreneur groups, especially in the handmade community.

Name one unknown fact about you.

I love to rock a microphone on karaoke night!

What’s the most unexpected thing you’ve recently done?

I went skydiving with my best friend for her birthday.
