Andy is an Ohio native with a bachelor's degree in Adolescent-to-Young-Adult Integrated Science Education from Ohio University. After working as a teacher for a few years, Andy found his true passion in front-end web development. He’s worked with clients in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, public education, municipalities, and more. Andy’s approach to working with clients is to help them break up big ideas into small, manageable bits. What Andy loves most about web development is solving puzzles and having concrete evidence of his hard work.

That the Cleveland Browns will never win the Super Bowl.

Name a guilty pleasure.

love video games. Like, a sit in a dark room for 13 hours clearing a raid kind of love.

Do HTML, CSS, or Javascript count?

What's your greatest accomplishment?

I (helped) create a human being.

Andy's Favorite Project

I’m in the process of building a website for BMC (Beyond Multiple Choice), a computerized tool that gives STEM teachers better insight into the complexity of student thinking. I’m especially drawn to this project because it overlaps my former life as a science teacher with my current life as a web developer. Aside from enjoying the subject matter, this project also challenges me to strengthen my skills as a Drupal developer in order to meet specific, niche site requirements.
