Ceara is a graduate from Grand Valley State University with a degree in Human Resources Management. She has worked in HR settings for large organizations including Spectrum Health, MSU Federal Credit Union, and Michigan Farm Bureau. Ceara pulls from her experience in financial services and insurance to offer unique industry knowledge. Her ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with teams makes her a valuable part of our project management team. Ceara enjoys getting to know clients on a personal level, while gaining a professional understanding of client needs. She’s all about forming connections, whether it’s with clients or her colleagues.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I really wanted to be a teacher when I was younger. I wanted to wear heels and hear them clicking on the hallway floor. I soon realized this was not for me and I cannot walk in heels.

Are you named after anyone?

I am not! Fun fact about my name though - I worked at a gym in college and there was a gentleman that was really interested in names, and he told me that my name means ‘light at the end of the tunnel.’

What’s your favorite thing to do on a day off?

Snuggle up with my kiddos watching a movie and reading.

If you could only eat three foods for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Mac & cheese, pizza, and Oreos (the holiday editions ONLY).
